Named after Egyptian Queen Nefertiti

Targets the neck and jawline area

Named after Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, this treatment specifically targets the neck and jawline area using botulinum toxin for a rejuvenated and uplifted appearance. It’s often said that people can tell someone’s age by how their neck and hands look. For most people, starting out with aesthetic treatments they naturally concentrate of facial areas and neglect the neck. However, if the neck or jawline are saggy, jowly, wrinkled and loose, then this can ‘give away’ the fact that work has been done elsewhere.

The neck area can be particularly tricky to treat effectively as the skin is quite delicate and thin. However, in the right client, a neck lift can deliver remarkable results. The Nefertiti Lift is designed to tighten and define the jaw, to reduce the appearance of jowls and to soften neck lines for a rejuvenating effect that presents smoother skin, without the need to undertake much more invasive surgical treatments.

How does the Nefertiti Lift work?

The Nefertiti Lift technique consists of a series of botox injections carefully and precisely administered into the platysma muscles which are located in the neck, and injections along the jawline. as the muscles which are pulling down in the neck are relaxed there is an upward pull as the muscles pulling upwards will work harder, which in turn, reduces the appearance of sagginess and wrinkled skin.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions answered

Botox® has been used for many years in both cosmetic and medical treatments. It is the most popular non-surgical treatment in the UK and in the world by far.

This is a very comfortable treatment. Anaesthetic cream will be applied prior to treatment, however many clients feel very little even without prior numbing of the area.

It takes 14 days for the Botox to take full effect. You may start to see improvements after a few days but it’s important to wait for the full 14 days to see the end result.

The Nefertiti Lift generally lasts for 3-6 months depending on how the individual client metabolises the Botulinum Toxin. However, treatment can then be repeated in order to maintain the effect. There are also evidence that suggests that this can be a preventative treatment – delaying the sagging keeps skin tighter for longer.
